Meet Dr. Triplett

Dr. Triplett, a proud Fort Mill native, has always been passionate about the healthcare field. She chose dentistry as her career path, captivated by the perfect fusion of art and science that allows her to improve her patients’ health and well-being through meticulous, hands-on care.

After earning her bachelor’s degree at Clemson University, Dr. Triplett went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. Throughout her education, she was devoted to serving others, participating in an Indian Health Service externship, dental mission trips, and volunteering at free clinics and community events.

Following the completion of her dental degree, Dr. Triplett sought further education through a General Practice Residency at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC. This experience allowed her to gain advanced training in various areas of dentistry while serving an underserved population. She later worked in private practice in Waldorf, MD, before returning to the South.

Dr. Triplett was drawn to dentistry due to the immediate results and the significant improvements she could make in her patients’ health. She values the unique opportunity dentistry offers to address and resolve issues in a single visit, a rarity in other healthcare fields. Dr. Triplett treasures the long-lasting relationships she builds with her patients, treating them with respect and attentively listening to their concerns and desires. She finds great joy in the artistry of her profession, and her ultimate satisfaction comes from giving her patients a smile that makes them smile.

In founding Trident Smile Studio, Dr. Triplett aimed to create an office where she could treat patients the way she would want to be treated—by providing top-notch dentistry paired with outstanding customer experiences.

Outside the dental office, Dr. Triplett enjoys diverse interests, such as working out, hiking, playing soccer, and curling up with a good book. And, of course, she loves spending time with her giant, fluffy dog, Raya. Just ask her to share pictures—though it may be hard to get her to stop!
